Eaton has released a new, more advanced version of its easyE Remote Touch Display (RTD), the plug-and-play visualisation solution for its easyE4 control relay. The solution is now offered in Standard and Advanced versions, providing cost-effective, flexible, and quick-to-deploy visualisation options.

The RTD Advanced is a ready-to-use device that connects to the easyE4 via a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable. It is based on the latest version of the company's easySoft software (version 8.10), which enables users to create powerful custom visualisations, import user-defined text, graphics and operating elements, and edit timer function blocks. At the same time, the modern user interface of the RTD Advanced makes it easy to operate without needing any programming knowledge.

Like the RTD Standard, the version can mirror the display and keypad of one or more easyE4 control relays. It also allows data from multiple easyE4 devices to be visualised rather than having to switch between mirroring one control relay at a time. The version can also remotely access the navigation menus of connected easyE4 devices. Three different users can be set up and administered to prevent unauthorised access to the visualisation interface.

With its compact size, 4.3" display and attractive design, the new version can be integrated easily into new and existing systems and needs minimal space. Its full-colour screen reproduces the display and operating elements of the easyE4, with over 65,000 colours available to display text, values, parameters and even graphics. The RTD menu is available in 13 different languages.

The RTD Advanced can be mounted in the control cabinet door, making it particularly useful in areas where the panel is hard to reach or where access is restricted for security reasons. Whether as a stand-alone device or as part of a starter package, the solution provides an attractively priced entry-level option for custom visualisations of the easyE4 control relay.
